The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regards to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The support position created for intervention encounters a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to enable the servicing of all sassa status check clients and boost access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
